Dear Mary,
On Tuesday, June 5, 2007, I arrived at 49 Elm
St. for a 9:30am appt. with Francis. Upon getting
there 10 minutes early with my friend Helen, Cathy
P. came downstairs to the reception area to inform
us that there was an "emergency" as a victim was
there without an appointment. I never saw anyone
that fit this discription enter or leave the
premisis the entire time I was there. Cathy
returned upstairs. 5 minutes later, Sister X came
downstairs and introduced herself. She asked who my
friend was and apologized for any inconvienence and
left. A short while later, Francis herself came
downstairs and informed us that Helen could not sit
in on the meeting. She said that she didn't know
her despite my menitoning that she was here for my
support. During this meeting which was set up by
her to discuss "housing," I was interogated with
questions like "Will the trial be in Boston or
Worcester? How many witnesses are there? Do you
get along with your mother and father? Have you
seen them recently? Do you know the trial date?"
Sister X informed me that I need to pray for John
Szantyr and said that I was partially responsible
for his wellbeing and spiritual state. She
repeatedly impressed upon me that I need to fully
forgive him. I felt taken advantage of during this
meeting, as it was 2 on one. As far as housing,
Francis told me that "we don't do that." She could
have informed me over the phone, but chose to bring
me into her office to get information out of me. I
humbly request her immediate resignation or
termination. She is borderline senile and I feel,
mentally incompetent to do her job, as she is
prejudice against this victim serving to protect
only the reputation of the diocese.
Sincerely,
Mike Chesnis
