Bishop William F. Murphy officiated at a special concelebrated Mass at St. Aloysius Church on Sunday, Nov. 25, marking the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the church in Great Neck. Co-celebrants were: Monsignor Brendan P. Riordan, pastor; Monsignor Alan J. Placa, vice chancellor of the diocese; and Monsignor John J. Alesandro, vicar general; Father Simon Kim Hanki, Korean apostolate and other priests who have served in the parish in the past. Rabbi Jennifer Krauss from Temple Beth El, Rabbi Marim D. Charry from Temple Israel, Rev. William Jiles of St. Paul AME Zion Church and representative Tom DiNapoli were also in attendance.
